A Tired Laker Team Lost in Last Quarter

I wholeheartedly agree that the Lakers need “fresh, young legs” to battle the giants of the NBA. I also agree that the Lakers need to trade up to an earlier pick in this year’s draft so that they can acquire one of the many quality big men leaving the collegiate ranks this year. However, the Lakers don’t have much trading power unless they are willing to give up a proven performer in exchange for an early pick.
With all that in mind, I propose they trade Magic Johnson to the Boston Celtics for the No. 2 pick in this year’s draft.
