Atheists and Graduation
We are dismayed with the space given, and the smug rhetoric of atheist James Brodhead on the subject of God and school prayer.
In a show of weakness, the Los Angeles Board of Education succumbed to the wiles of the ubiquitous American Civil Liberties Union by barring prayer at high school graduations. Why not just mail the kid his diploma?
In World War II we had a saying overseas in the Army that went, “You won’t find any atheists in the foxholes.” How does that grab you, Brodhead?
