Oil Pollutes Cuban Port

HAVANA — An oil spill from a Soviet tanker has caused serious pollution at the Cuban deep-water port of Cienfuegos, the Cuban news agency AIN said Wednesday. A pipeline broke as the tanker Lukhivitsky was being unloaded at the port’s oil terminal, spilling 1,265 tons of fuel oil into Cienfuegos Bay, it said.
