Radinsky Named 4-A Player of the Year

Simi Valley High pitcher Scott Radinsky was named the Southern Section’s 4-A Player of the Year in a vote of sportswriters, the California Interscholastic Federation announced Wednesday.
Joining Radinsky on the All-Southern Section first team were Simi Valley senior outfielder Shaun Murphy (who batted .437), Simi Valley senior infielder Mike Hankins (.407) and Crespi senior first baseman Scott Campbell (.438).
Radinsky was 14-1 this season with a 1.18 earned-run average. His only loss was to Hart in March.
Thousand Oaks senior outfielder Eddie Hall (.558) was named to the All-Southern Section third team, as was senior infielder Dave Milstien of Simi Valley (.367).
