SCULPTOR FLETCHER BENTON TO BE FEATURED AS VISITING ARTIST

Sculptor Fletcher Benton will be featured visiting artist, July 14-18, at the Art Institute of Southern California (formerly the Laguna College of Art), 2222 Laguna Canyon Road, Laguna Beach.

Benton’s residency includes daily studio demonstrations from 9 a.m. to noon and a slide lecture on his work at 7:30 p.m. on July 16. There also will be an exhibition of his work. Benton is a San Francisco-based artist known for his monumental sculptures. His residency is funded by the Laguna Beach Festival of Arts. All events are free to the public.
