Fountain Valley : Male Girl Scout Adviser Accused of Molestations

A Fountain Valley man who was a Girl Scout adviser has been released from the Orange County Jail following his arrest on charges of molesting at least two Girl Scouts, a spokesman for the jail said Friday.
Police arrested Lee Gordon Harris, 46, at 7 a.m. Thursday at his home and booked him on two charges of child molestation.
Harris s charged with molesting girls during sanctioned Girl Scout camp-outs, Fountain Valley Police Lt. Rod Gillman said Friday.
The alleged victims were in their early teens.
The case also was referred to authorities in San Diego and San Bernardino counties and Arizona for molestations which allegedly occurred there, police said. Harris was a “senior skills adviser” for the Girl Scouts.
Neither Harris nor Girl Scout spokeswomen could be reached for comment Friday.
