In regard to Ruth Reichl’s article about people who pay to work next to their favorite chefs for a day, Shirley Barris should let Wolfgang Puck and Co. spend a day with her (“Chef for a Day: Grillings and Just Desserts,” June 22).
I’ve had better food, better service and a better table at Shirley’s house than at either Spago or Chinois.
