We just finished a delightful 2 1/2-day stay at Gold Mountain Manor in Big Bear City. Because we use Jerry Hulse as one of our travel gurus when we select places to stay, we selected that place. We just want to reinforce his recommendation and tell you that Lynne Montgomery is the ultimate embodiment of the caring hostess, and that Gold Manor, that she and her partner have created, is charming. Tantalizing, creative surprises make it an adventure to be remembered.
