‘DEATH OF A GRADUATE’

I noted, in Paul Rosenfield’s article (“Did Mike Nichols Squander His Luck on ‘Heartburn’?,” Aug. 3) that a sequel to “The Graduate” was being considered. I would suggest that it has already been done, via Dustin Hoffman’s portrayal of Willy Loman in “Death of a Salesman.”
Things just didn’t work out so well in plastics.
