Singer Merle Haggard Cancels 2 Shows at Universal Amphitheatre
- Share via
Country singer Merle Haggard abruptly canceled his performances tonight and Monday at the Universal Amphitheatre, a Universal spokeswoman confirmed Saturday night.
No reason for the cancellation was given by Universal. Last week, Haggard missed a concert at the Clark County Fair in Washington. Fair officials said he left several hours before the concert after having an argument with his wife.
The Universal spokeswoman said Haggard’s opening act, the Judds, are still scheduled to perform, and that another act will be added to the show.
Ticket holders may either attend the concerts or apply for refunds 10 days after the performance dates, she said.
