Police Seek Information in Fatal Accident

Seal Beach police are seeking information about a car accident that left a Long Beach man dead after he apparently fell out of his pickup and was run over, a police spokeswoman said Sunday.
Vann Nhed, 30, was found by paramedics in an alley at the rear of 217 13th St., suffering from severe head and chest injuries, the spokeswoman said.
Nhed’s wife, Hoeun Phoeugn, told police her husband had complained of dizziness while driving and apparently fell out of his vehicle and was run over. The incident occurred about 8:45 a.m.
An interpreter was contacted to interview the woman, who spoke little English. She told police she and her husband were from India.
