Hey, hey, I’ve been noticing your letters criticizing Hollywood Park. How about one for Hollywood Park?
The opinion here is that the worst day Marjorie Everett ever saw is far better than the best day ever presented to the public by those board chairmen at Santa Anita. These economic elitists even try to present the background mountains as if they owned them. As for being comfortable, try one of Santa Anita’s concrete slabs to Hollypark’s individual seating, right up to the main track. No comparison.
If you want plastic lullabies, go to Santa Anita. Want serious fun, do Hollywood Park.
