Former USC Linebacker Keith Biggers Cut by Indianapolis as Teams Trim Rosters

The Indianapolis Colts cut former USC linebacker Keith Biggers, a free agent, as NFL teams trimmed their rosters to make a 45-player limit by Sept. 7.
In other moves, the Detroit Lions cut guard Don Greco, who had an injury-prone, six-year career. Greco was a former third-round pick from Western Illinois.
The Atlanta Falcons waived veteran wide receiver Virgil Seay, who spent most of his six-year career at Washington.
Philadelphia cut veteran running backs Major Everett and Herman Hunter, while Miami cut Bill Barnett, a six-year veteran of the Dolphins’ defensive line. The Dolphins also cut rookie quarterback Jeff Wickersham of LSU.
The New York Jets waived second-year running back Cedric Minter, who came from the Canadian Football League. The Jets also cut free-agent punter John Misko, a former Ram who was trying to win the job from veteran Dave Jennings.
