22 Killed, 110 Hurt by Typhoon in Taiwan

TAIPEI, Taiwan — Typhoon Wayne hit central Taiwan with torrential rains and 100-m.p.h. winds Friday, killing at least 22 people, injuring more than 110 others and paralyzing much of the island.
