Glenn Frey has canceled his appearance Thursday at the “Get Tough on Toxics” benefit concert at the Long Beach Arena because of illness. A spokesman for the singer said he’s been hospitalized since last week with an intestinal disorder.
The concert would have marked Frey’s first appearance with Don Henley since their group, the Eagles, disbanded in 1980. Henley, Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, Stevie Nicks, Lindsey Buckingham and others are still scheduled to perform.
