Local News in Brief : Thousand Oaks Man Dies in Auto Accident

A 23-year-old man killed in a Thousand Oaks traffic accident has been identified as Hugo Lopez Moya of Thousand Oaks.
The Ventura County Sheriff’s Department is investigating why Moya’s car left the road and smashed head-on into a telephone pole Tuesday night, Lt. Gene Bascou said.
Moya died instantly of multiple injuries in the one-car accident that occurred about 11 p.m. as he drove south on Reino Road north of Lynn Road, Bascou said.
