Tax reform crusader Howard Jarvis left his Los Angeles home and most of his estate to his wife, Estelle, according to a will filed in Superior Court. Jarvis also left money to various relatives, the largest amount going to his daughter, Elaine Jarvis, who will receive $50,000. Jarvis’ brother, Robert, and his sister, Hazel Webb, will get $1,000 each. His sister-in-law, Dolores Tuttle, will receive $5,000. According to court papers, Jarvis left at least $100,000 in real property and another $100,000 in personal property. A petition attached to the will, which was signed in February, asks that Estelle be named the estate’s executor. A Sept. 18 hearing is set to consider the petition. Jarvis died Aug. 12.
