Motorcyclist Injured: A 22-year-old man who tried to stand up on his motorcycle while riding about 60 m.p.h. on Coast Highway on Tuesday crashed into a guardrail north of Laguna Beach and suffered a skull fracture and asphalt burns, a California Highway Patrol spokesman said. Michael Victor Carl Moore of Dana Point was in stable condition in the intensive care unit at Mission Community Hospital in Mission Viejo, CHP Officer Ken Daily said. A friend riding on a motorcycle behind Moore told officers that Moore appeared to be trying to stand up on his own 1985 Yamaha and placed his knee on the vehicle’s seat before the front wheel wobbled. Daily said Moore’s motorcycle slid over and careened into a center divider guardrail south of Emerald Cove.
