Realty Outlook for 1987 Will Be Thursday’s Conference Topic

Builders, developers, financial institutions and government agencies will be represented at IMPACT ’87 Thursday at the Sheraton Universal Hotel, to hear how the building industry can plan for economic, financial, tax and marketing changes during 1987.
Lt. Gov. Leo McCarthy will address economic and state regulation issues, while leading Southern California housing and construction industry figures discuss products and marketing plans. Co-sponsors of the program are the Los Angeles region of the Building Industry Assn. and Chicago Title Co.
A builders panel of Randall Lewis, Lewis Homes; John C. Yelverton, Cota de Caza, and William Rattazzi, Valencia Co., will tell of their plans for ‘87, while Paul Kohler and Arnold Dubin, certified public accountants, and George Smith, financier, discuss financial ramifications relating to pending tax reform.
Marketeers Carole Eichen, Christopher Lee and Jay L. Moss will look ahead to sales strategies. John Pfister, Chicago Title; Stephen Bottfeld, president of Insites and Dick Turpin, Times real estate editor, will round out the morning and luncheon sessions with their views.
