Leconte, Jarryd Join Houston Tennis Field

HOUSTON — Henri Leconte of France and Sweden’s Anders Jarryd will join John McEnroe, Jimmy Connors, Tim Mayotte and others in the $279,000 WCT Houston Shootout beginning Nov. 17.
Leconte, ranked eighth in the world, recently reached the quarterfinals at the U.S. Open before losing to Ivan Lendl. Jarryd, ranked 16th, is one of the top Swedish players, winning this year’s Buick WCT Finals title.
