Hawthorne police have arrested four men who allegedly shot a patron several times as he ate lunch in a crowded restaurant. Taken into custody were Keit Trung Ngo, 23, of Gardena; Lam Hong Le, 19, of Hawthorne; Ty Van Trac, 21, of San Francisco, and Dunt Van Tran, 20, of Alhambra. Police said the four argued with garment worker Thieu Quang Binh, 20, of Hawthorne for about 20 minutes before shooting him at the Pho Hoa Restaurant, 15034 Prairie Ave. Thieu is in serious condition at Daniel Freeman Memorial Hospital, police said. Investigators have not determined what prompted the argument. The suspects were arrested by a Monterey Park officer who had a description of their car. They are being held without bail at the Hawthorne jail.
