Jan Kemp told a national television audience that she has received support at the University of Georgia since the lawsuit in which she won $1.08 million and reinstatement to her teaching job. Some members of a studio audience, however, were not supportive.
Kemp, an assistant English professor who charged that she was fired in 1982 for protesting academic favoritism for athletes at Georgia, appeared on the Phil Donahue show in Atlanta.
