Carpinteria 45, Oak Park 0--An early evening rain and hail storm delayed the start of the game, but it did not stop Carpinteria from rolling to a Tri-Valley League victory at Oak Park.
The first two plays of the game proved costly for Oak Park. Starting wide receiver Jason Stein suffered a bruised hip and starting quarterback Chris Hall went out on the first play from scrimmage with a separated shoulder.
Oak Park (0-4, 0-1) has not scored a touchdown this season.
Carpinteria (3-1, 1-0) scored 22 points in the second quarter, including touchdown runs of two and five yards by John Keiser.
