A Santa Ana man drowned in a Pennsylvania state park Monday after he and another man slipped off a rock and fell into a creek while taking pictures, officials said.
Kendon Wagstaff, 20, fell off the rock into the Slippery Rock Creek in McConnell’s Mill State Park near Butler, Pa., officials said. His body was pulled from 15 to 20 feet of water by divers about five hours later.
Robert Uebelacker, 27, of Beaver Falls, Pa., also fell into the water but was pulled to safety by three nearby people.
Uebelacker was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital and was listed in serious condition.
