Gauguin Paintings Stolen

MELBOURNE, Australia — Thieves stole four paintings Saturday, including three by Paul Gauguin, worth more than $1.2 million, police said. The paintings were removed from Carrick Hill estate, which housed one of Australia’s finest private art collections.
