Western Christian 7, L.A. Baptist 0--An errant pitch by L.A. Baptist quarterback Mike McDonald was recovered on the Knight one-yard line, setting up a touchdown run by Gary Levin for only score in the Alpha League game at Monroe High.
George Kaszacs recovered McDonald’s fumble midway through the third quarter to set up Levin’s run, as Western Christian (5-2, 3-1 in league) overcame L.A. Baptist’s 265-98 edge in total offense.
