Fresno State Beats UCI in Soccer, 1-0

UC Irvine was unable to capitalize on a man advantage for the final 15 minutes of the second half and lost to Fresno State, 1-0, Sunday in a Pacific Coast Athletic Assn. men’s soccer game at Irvine.
The only score came on a corner kick by Paul Pell of the Bulldogs (4-1, 11-4-2) at the 14:30 mark of the first half. Fresno State’s Femi Olukanni was ejected for the final 15 minutes.
The Anteaters are 1-2, 6-11.
