USD and SDSU Play to 3-3 Tie in Soccer

SAN DIEGO — Chris Duke scored on a corner kick from Art Faro with 4:20 remaining in overtime to give the University of San Diego a 3-3 tie with San Diego State in a nonconference soccer match Monday at USD.
San Diego State had taken a 3-2 lead on Jim Homan’s goal in overtime.
The match was tied 2-2 after regulation. Bo Kaemerle scored two goals--his 16th and 17th of the season--for USD and Kyle Whittemore and Steve Boardman scored for SDSU.
SDSU, ranked No. 15 in the country, is 10-2-4. USD is 14-3-1.
