The body of a man who was shot to death was discovered in a wash in the Sepulveda Basin in Encino by a motorist who stopped to fix his car, Los Angeles police said.
The body was found at 1:30 p.m. Sunday along Burbank Boulevard, near Hayvenhurst Avenue, where it had apparently been left the night before, Detective Mel Arnold said.
The victim has not been unidentified, Arnold said. He was described as a Latino man in his 20s wearing black pants and a purple pullover jacket.
