State Rep. Larry Bullock was sentenced to six years in prison for using his legislative office to enrich himself at the expense of Illinois taxpayers. U.S. District Judge Milton I. Shadur also ordered Bullock to perform 800 hours of community service at the end of his sentence, during which time he will be placed on probation for five years. Bullock, a Democrat from Chicago, was convicted last October on nine counts of mail fraud and three counts of lying to the government.
