Deputy Admits to Conspiracy Charge

A Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputy has pleaded guilty to conspiracy to obstruct justice in order to commit crimes including extortion, bribery and possession of cocaine.
Scott Graham, 27, who was arrested in January at the Sheriff’s Department’s West Hollywood Station faces a maximum prison term of four years when he is sentenced Jan. 26.
Deputy Wayne Desire, 27, who was also charged with conspiring, entered a plea of not guilty.
The two were arrested after a citizen alleged that some deputies at the West Hollywood Station were involved in illegal drug sales.
