The Jewish Federation Council of Greater Los Angeles has dedicated its new $1-million multipurpose social service building at 22410 Palos Verdes Blvd., Torrance.
The 6,000-square-foot building more than doubles the previous office space at 3848 Carson St. This is the first time that the Torrance region’s offices have been located in a building owned by the Jewish Federation Council.
Among the agencies that are using the community building are the United Jewish Fund, Women’s Conference/Division departments, Jewish Big Brothers, Jewish Family Service and the Jewish Community Centers Assn.
Scotsman Manufacturing Corp., Long Beach, acted as both architect and contractor.
