Police were searching Sunday for the driver of a pickup truck that collided with a motorcycle late Saturday, killing the motorcyclist. A truck passenger and a motorcycle passenger were injured, the latter critically.
Marvin L. Fine, 34, of Tustin was killed when his motorcycle crashed into the pickup truck shortly after 6 p.m., Santa Ana Police Lt. Robert Helton said.
Helton said Fine was eastbound on First Street when the westbound pickup truck turned left in front of him. Fine crashed head-on into the passenger-side door. The truck driver, identified only as a Santa Ana resident, jumped out and fled and was still at large Sunday evening, Helton said.
Fine was pronounced dead at the scene. His passenger, Rickey Brown, 31, of Santa Ana, is listed in critical condition at Western Medical Center in Santa Ana.
The truck passenger, Francisco Estrada, 22, of Capistrano Beach, was listed in stable condition at Western Medical Center.
