Winless USIU Basketball Team Plays Air Force

SAN DIEGO — United States International University will seek its first victory in three games when it plays the Air Force Academy tonight at 7:30 in Golden Hall.
The Gulls lost Saturday in overtime to Boise State, 89-83, after having lost their opener to UC San Diego, 106-95. Joe Yezbak scored a team-high 26 points against Boise State.
Air Force had won its first four games before losing Saturday at Northern Arizona in overtime, 86-77. The Falcons lost their top two scorers and top two rebounders from last season. Guard Rob Marr was the team’s third-leading scorer last year and forward Michael Lockwood was the third-leading rebounder.
