410 Die in Iran Floods

At least 410 people have died and 2,000 homes have been destroyed in floods unleashed by record heavy rain and snow in southern Iran in the last week, Tehran newspapers said. The precipitation, over eight southern Iran provinces, was the heaviest in more than a century, the newspaper Kayhan said.
