Valley College Women Beat San Diego City

Demetra Johnson scored 23 points and had 14 rebounds to lead the Valley College women’s basketball team to a 70-25 rout over San Diego City on Wednesday night in a nonconference game at Valley.
The Monarchs, who won their fifth straight, improved to 8-1.
Valley, which led, 40-13, at halftime, had three other players score in double figures. Kristen Bregel had 14 points, Maryjo Testa 12 and Kristy Davis 10.
