KLM said it agreed to buy Hilton International.

The Dutch national airline announced that it has reached a conditional agreement to buy the Hilton International chain from U.S.-based Transworld Corp. KLM said it offered $975 million in cash for the chain, which owns 90 Hilton hotels--mostly overseas. The purchase would be financed, the company said, through “internal means and available credit facilities.”
