Texas Firm Buys Parkview Plaza for $65 Million

An affiliate of USAA Insurance Co., major Texas-based firm, has purchased Parkview Plaza, twin-towered offices at 1230-40 Rosecrans Ave., Manhattan Beach, for more than $65 million, from Rosecrans Plaza Associates, according to Howard, Ring & Chizever, law firm representing the San Antonio buyer.
USAA Income Properties is the new owner. Hughes Aircraft has occupied the 300,000 square complex since its completion two years ago. The law firm of Jones, Day, Reavis & Pogue represented the seller and Beitler Commercial Realty Services and Marc Victor were brokers.
