Sports Briefs : Valley Christian Tops

Cal-Hi Sports of Sacramento selected Valley Christian High football team as the No. 1 A team in the state in the publication’s final rankings. The Crusaders topped Carpinteria High, 10-7, recently to win the Southern Section’s Inland Conference championship. Valley Christian finished 12-1, losing only to Laguna Beach, a AA school, by two points. Carpinteria finished second in the rankings.

Georgetown in Town
