Local News in Brief : Body of Man Found on Panorama City Street

Police in a passing patrol car discovered the body of a 38-year-old man lying near a curb about four blocks from Panorama City Shopping Center Sunday morning, authorities said.
The body was found at 3:15 a.m. in front of a medical office building in the 15000 block of Parthenia Street, said Detective Mel Arnold of the Los Angeles Police Department. The cause of death was not apparent and will be determined by an autopsy, he said.
Police withheld the dead man’s name pending an investigation.
