Trading Marcus Allen Would Be a Mistake

If the Raiders trade Marcus Allen, as has been suggested by some sportswriters, it will be the sorriest move they ever made. Allen is the heart and soul of the offense, and the injury-plagued star is not responsible for the Silver and Black’s demise this year.
That dubious honor goes to the defense, which went downhill all season and reached rock-bottom in the last four games of the year.
