No, Frederick’s of Hollywood is not moving into the El Rey Theatre on Wilshire’s Miracle Mile. It’s been painted pink because the legendary theater--there since 1928--is being transformed into a nightclub/restaurant called Wall Street.

Grand opening is expected mid-January. The four-month, $1.3-million face-lift will ensure that Wall Street will be “one of the fanciest and best nightclubs in California,” boasts owner Frank Javid, who said disco will prevail, with an occasional live show.
