Fox Broadcasting Co. wants to televise NFL games on its network and is willing to pay as much as one of the big three commercial networks, Fox Chairman Barry Diller said.
“We would take ABC’s contract and sign it today,” Diller said. ABC’s contract, which has expired, paid the NFL about $700 million per year for broadcast rights.
