USC Sweeps UC Irvine in Volleyball Match

USC, ranked third in the nation in men’s volleyball, defeated UC Irvine, 15-7, 15-8, 15-9, Wednesday in a nonconference match in front of 425 in Crawford Hall.

The Anteaters (0-2) were led by John Bardford, a senior outside hitter, with six kills. Dave Petker, a freshman middle blocker, and Tim Flink, a sophomore setter, had five kills each.
