Jascha Heiftez was once characterized as having sacrificed his humanity on the altar of excellence. It would seem that Classical Communications’ Louise Heifetz is continuing the family tradition. The planned format of pure classical music has its appeal, but we doubt that our feelings of loyalty and friendship to the station will ever return.
A thanks from us to the old KFAC and its staff of announcers for creating an era of good listening and good will. We are sorry that it is over.
