Orange County College Roundup : Westmont Rallies to Beat Southern California, 82-72

Westmont College’s men’s basketball team overcame a nine-point deficit with 3 1/2 minutes remaining to defeat Southern California College, 82-72, Saturday night in a Golden State Athletic Conference game at Santa Barbara.
Westmont made four three-point shots to cut Southern California’s lead. Brian Holt’s three-point shot with 1:32 remaining gave Westmont a 72-70 lead.
Southern California led at halftime, 38-29.
Holt led Westmont with 17 points.
Southern California was led Jon Haar, who scored 18 points, and Jeff Stephens, who had 17.
Westmont improved to 13-3 and Southern California dropped to 11-5.
Life Bible College 89, Pacific Christian 75--Brothers Sam and Mike Updike each scored 26 points to lead Life Bible College to an easy victory. Brian Keisser had 19 points for Pacific Christian.
