Anaheim Council Meetings to Be Later
Beginning Feb. 3, residents who want to attend City Council meetings can show up at a new starting time: 1:30 p.m.
To accommodate working residents and its newest councilman, private attorney Fred Hunter, the Tuesday meetings will be moved from 10 a.m. to noon, the council decided this week.
Because the council plans to meet in closed session between noon and 1:30, the public portion of the meeting will start at 1:30 p.m. in the council chambers at City Hall, 200 S. Anaheim Blvd.
Council members, however, have said that they will resume the earlier sessions if meetings begin running late into the night.
