The warranties were extended to six years or 60,000 miles on power trains and six years or 100,000 miles on corrosion protection, responding to a similar offer by industry leader General Motors. Ford also entered the latest round in the auto buying incentives wars, announcing new-car financing of as low as 3.9%, a rebate of up to $600 or both, depending on the car.
