In a management restructuring aimed at consolidating leadership among its four subsidiaries, CPG International in Irvine has established two groups and has named two vice presidents to oversee each group. CPG also has named an advertising and promotions vice president for the holding company.
Henry Fil of Leeds, Mass. is group vice president for operations and Howard Kaufman of Irvine is group vice president for marketing and sales for CPG’s graphic arts and fine arts subsidiaries, Chartpak and M. Grumbacher Inc.
Fil had been Chartpak’s vice president and general manager, and Kaufman had been Chartpak’s vice president for marketing and sales.
Howard Knott of Huntington Beach is group vice president for operations and Gerald Hedin of Orange is group vice president for marketing and sales for CPG’s architectural and engineering supply subsidiaries, Plan Hold Corp. and Clearprint Paper Co.
Knott had been Plan Hold’s vice president and general manager, and Hedin had been Plan Hold’s vice president for marketing and sales.
David Krause of Mission Viejo is vice president for advertising and promotions for all the CPG companies. He had been director of marketing services for Plan Hold.
Though leadership now is consolidated with the new positions, each subsidiary remains an “independent profit center,” said John Zaepfel, CPG’s chief executive officer.
