TransWorld Bancorp Shows Quarter Gain of 6%

TransWorld Bancorp posted fourth-quarter earnings of $256,000, up 6% from $241,000 in the 1985 fourth quarter. Earnings per share were 27 cents against 26 cents, whereas total assets at Dec. 31 rose 9% to $163.7 million.
For the year, TransWorld earned $959,000, up 6%. Earnings per share for the year were $1.03 against 97 cents in 1985.
Based in Van Nuys, 34-year-old TransWorld has nine banking offices, all in the San Fernando Valley.
